Meagan Kunisch

NASM NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SPORTS MEDICINE CERTIFIED

I wasn’t your traditional athlete. I didn’t grow up playing sports or experiencing the competitive environment that goes along with sports. There was a part of me that yearned for that sense of family and community you get when you are part of a team. It was something I always wanted but I never wanted to step out of my comfort zone to find it. It wasn’t until I enrolled in my first body sculpting class in high school that I finally got a taste of who I was and unknowingly who I was meant to be. You see, not everyone in the fitness industry was raised in sports. Many successful people in the fitness world are normal everyday people who simply wanted MORE. That is 100% me. Not in the sense of obtaining and owning more “things”; in the sense that I wanted more out of myself. I wanted to set goals, I wanted to reach those goals, I wanted to challenge myself, and more than anything I wanted to finally step out of my comfort zone and do things I never had the courage to do. So, I obtained my National Academy of Sports Medicine certification in 2016. I then set a new goal for myself, prepping and competing in my very first bikini competition. Prepping and competing in my first competition is what opened my eyes to my truest and fullest potential. I gained strength, confidence, knowledge, compassion, a sense of team work, a sense of community, and more importantly I found who I was always meant to be. Signing on with ADOFitness and their amazing team was another goal, maybe more of a dream at the time, I had set in the back of my head. I thought if there was any team or rather, any family I would want to be a part of it would be ADOFitness.

My purpose in life is to help others learn and help them to see their true strength and potential within themselves, to teach them how to achieve optimal health in a sustainable manner. If I can help just one person see themselves in a more positive light, I have done my part.

Testimonials

Meagan has really taught me lifestyle especially as it pertains to food. I never realized I wasn't eating enough to fuel both my running and my lifting. I never thought I would be eating more to achieve my goals. I'm just overall a much happier, healthier, and stronger person from my training with Meagan!

My name is Amanda Lineback and I have done two separate training challenges with Meagan. The first being a complete plan where my workouts as well as my meal plans were made for me and the second I was still given a specific work out plan to follow but I followed her “if it fits your macros” plan for the nutrition portion. Both were incredible, and I never felt deprived or fatigued during the day. I have lost pounds and inches, while gaining muscle and strength. She answers questions quickly and with knowledgeable, educated answers that she explains in detail. I fully respect and trust in her process and love my results, therefore I will be continuing to utilize her services in the future.

I am so completely happy with the way I am right now. I am so happy with this whole process. It hasn’t been quick, it hasn’t been easy (relatively speaking – there is a lot of work involved), and the number on the scale hasn’t changed that much. I am completely ok with all of that. You have helped me fix my relationship with working out and food. I don’t feel bad when and if I miss a workout, I give myself more rest days, more time to relax and enjoy, so that when I do workout I can give it my all and make it count. I’m not stuck on the never ending cycling of starving, working out and repeating each and every day. And my body has responded so well.

This is honestly the best frame of mind I’ve ever had in my entire life.

I feel like being postpartum is hard for so many reasons. Your body isn't what you remember, and that's scary. Going through this process with Meagan has been so amazing. She has been my cheerleader on some of my toughest days and has helped pull me out of my mental funks more than once. Most of my journey has been putting in the mental work with staying consistent with macros and remembering to speak kindly to myself. It's hard to get in workouts being a single mom half the week, so the ability to workout when I can fit it in and still see results is something AMAZING that I never before thought I could do. I'm so happy with my progress so far! I'm able to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes again which was a major goal of mine! I'm not done though! Still focused on getting into those last few pairs of pants!! This entire process has helped me so much mentally with accepting this new body of mine and working to be a healthier, happier person for my baby girl.

I’ve worked with a handful of coaches in the past and none of them can compare to the attention and attentiveness that Meagan gives to her clients. She really listens to you and makes changes accordingly for you to still reach your goals. Being postpartum, my goals were to improve my energy and metabolism and to get my abs back. I’m not even 6 months postpartum and we’ve already checked those off the list! I’m excited to continue to work with Meagan to see what else she can help me accomplish.
